You'll see some new types of posts this year. These categories aren't set in stone yet but here's a general idea. Anything new will be additional, you'll still see the "old" style short/info only posts.
All posts will follow the same rules of the site.
AI will not be used for writing any posts. I may use it to help with research or boring stuff like CSS and SEO. Don't worry, no clickbait titles.
New Categories
Site Info
Posts involving the site. This is the first one. I'm going out of my way to not call it "meta".
Blog
Blog style posts. More text than the usual short/info posts. I'm still writing these so the topics and tone will be the same.
This could be things like POTA recaps (similar to K4SWL's QRPer site), longer stories about fixing or setting things up, stuff like that.
Reviews
I'm still figuring this one out. My main focus is to get info out there for things that I like. I'm not trying to make a career out of this.
Everything from software to small temp sensors I'm using with Home Assistant. It's going to be all over the place.
If I get to the point where I'm working with companies they will not have a say on any content or have input on edits or changes. This will probably disqualify me for 99% of things I'd review, oh well.
I understand this is a change to the site you originally subscribed to. If that's not your kind of thing hey man I get it, I appreciate the support either way.
I'd like to change subscriptions to allow emails per category in the future. There are a few options but cost is a big factor. That's a topic for another site info post just know I won't sell your info or use a service that does.
Oh yeah, Checky might come back too. He might not be green though.
