Proxmox (PVE) clone failed cfs-lock error

qm unlock < VM ID >

I got this error after stopping a clone job. The clone job stopped but it did not unlock the template object.

SSH to the host or open the host’s shell by going to Datacenter > <host> then select Shell.

If you’re on a default install with the default hostname this link might work.

Use the command qm unlock <VM ID> to unlock the source VM/template.

qm unlock
